Schools

Arden is home to two schools: Glen Arden Elementary, and the Christ School. Glen Arden Elementary is part of the Buncombe County School District, and students will go on to attend nearby Cane Creek Middle School or Valley Springs Middle School, and then T.C. Roberson High School. T.C. Roberson is noted for both its academics as well as athletic excellence, as several of the sports teams are ranked among the best in the state of North Carolina.

The Christ School is a private Episcopal school for boys in grades 8-12. There are also a number of colleges and universities nearby, including the University of North Carolina – Asheville.
