Job Summary: Yuspeh Rappaport Law Firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and support the daily operations of five case managers in our personal injury law office. This role is essential in ensuring efficient case progression, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. The Project Manager will monitor case workflows, provide training and guidance, address client issues, and work closely with attorneys to optimize case strategies. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Support a team of case managers, ensuring effective caseload distribution, productivity, and adherence to office policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with case managers to monitor case status, deadlines, and any potential issues or delays.
  • Provide mentorship and training to case managers, offering support in case-related processes, client interactions, and professional development.

Workflow & Case Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of case workflows, from intake through settlement or trial, to ensure cases are progressing in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement project plans, track deadlines, and ensure that case milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and review case managers’ work to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.

Client Relations & Quality Control

  • Act as a point of escalation for complex client issues, coordinating with case managers to resolve concerns and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Review client communication strategies with case managers to ensure compassionate and professional interactions.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance audits on case files to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to office standards.
  • Manage and maintain business relationships.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for each case manager to evaluate productivity, caseload management, and client satisfaction.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports for management on case progress, team performance, and operational improvements.
  • Recommend changes or improvements to case management processes based on data-driven insights.

Process Improvement & Efficiency

  • Identify areas for process improvements to streamline case management, improve client outcomes, and increase team efficiency.
  • Develop and implement protocols and best practices for case management, recordkeeping, and client communications.
  • Coordinate with IT and administrative staff to ensure case management systems and tools are effectively supporting the team’s workflow.

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a project management or supervisory role within a personal injury law firm or similar legal setting.
  • Proven experience managing a team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to client service.
  • Proficiency with case management software (Casepeer) and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with personal injury law, court processes, and legal terminology is highly preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in legal project management.
