The Scribe position with our organization is a fantastic opportunity to learn and further your skill set in the orthopedic and pain management specialty. You will get to work with and learn from some of the best Doctors on Long Island.

Timothy Groth MD PC is a group of people who work together as a team to provide efficient and effective Pain Management Care. We are looking for someone who can scribe for the pain management doctors for the practice. The Doctors are very nice, caring, calm, and great at communicating. Ideally we are looking for someone with scribing experience and with a background in orthopedics, primary care, urgent care, or pain management but we will train someone who is smart, eager to learn, with basic healthcare knowledge. If you are in a GAP year looking to go to PA, NP, or Med school this is a great opportunity to work with a top practice and further solidify your CV for applications.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Greeting new patients and welcoming them to the practice.

2) Documenting charts based on initial paperwork and meeting with the patients.

3) Ensuring medical records contain necessary paperwork and documentation, including DX, HPI, Plan of care, MRIs, Allergies, and any other relevant information.

4) Educating patients based on the Doctors orders.

5) Performing various other patient focused tasks.
