THE POSITION: Our Internet Sales Manager is responsible for timely responding to internet sales leads and to sell automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers and closing sales. Other responsibilities include frequent correspondence with potential customers, data entry tasks and managing Internet Sales Team. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Manage Internet Sales Team. Coaching, Side-by-side sales, monthly performance reviews. Recruit and hire for Internet sales position. Lead Liaison to BDC. Field questions and handle higher priority leads. Communicate inventory availability and ordering lead times. Monitor Internet Appointments and re-assign if necessary. Review Individual and Store Closing % weekly and communicate accordingly. (Weekly, Monthly) Monitor response time and communication logs. Reconcile Reverse Risk Daily Sold Log with Vin Solutions to ensure every sale and lead is input correctly. (Daily, Weekly) Identify duplicate leads. Input missing leads. Ensure bad and lost leads are marked appropriately. (Daily, Weekly) Coordinate with BDC Manager and new BDRs to train on handling Buick, GMC, Cadillac Internet Leads. Conduct on-site quarterly training with new BDRs. Provide recommendations to GM to improve processes and closing percentages. – (Monthly) Lead source effectiveness. Missed opportunities. Utilization of our Digital Technologies and Digital Retail tools. Participate in Operations Review as requested. Start and stop Internet lead round robin status when consultants have extended leaves. Directly sell new and used vehicles – paid according to standard salesperson sale plan. Maintain appropriate CSI sores and KPI metrics. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly required to stand, talk, and hear. Frequently is required to walk and sit. Is potentially exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
