Position Overview
The Enrollment Counselor will be responsible for managing inquiries from prospective families, assisting with the enrollment process, and clearly communicating the benefits and features of our online charter and private school programs. You'll use your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with potential students and families, ensuring they feel supported throughout their enrollment journey.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to Inquiries: Provide prompt, professional, and friendly responses to prospective families via phone and email.
Educate Families: Clearly explain our school programs, including curriculum, student resources, and the enrollment process.
Manage Multiple Inquiries: Utilize strong organizational skills to track and manage multiple inquiries, providing regular status updates to the administrative team.
Maintain Records: Accurately document interactions and follow-up actions using customer management systems and Microsoft Excel.
Professional Work Environment: Ensure a focused and professional workspace, free from distractions, while working remotely.
Collaborate: Work closely with the administrative team, providing updates on enrollment progress and sharing insights on trends or challenges.
Project Support: Assist with project management tasks related to enrollment and outreach initiatives.
Position Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
At least one year of customer service and/or enrollment experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to obtain a valid IVP Fingerprint clearance card before hire.
Ability to obtain a valid driver's license before hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in project management.
Associate's degree or higher.
Spanish proficiency is highly preferred to assist Spanish-speaking families.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent Communication: Strong phone and email communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple inquiries and maintain accurate records.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with learning new software and systems quickly; strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Attention to Detail: Ability to track progress and follow up in a timely and organized manner.
